Squirrel Munch Box

The squirrels in my yard are the chewing the lid to get to the peanuts.I placed the peanuts on the ledge of the box. It is fun to watch them eat.The lid should be a little easier for them to get at the peanuts.

It is such a treat to see squirrels and chipmunks go dumpster diving when I fill the box with almonds, walnuts or peanuts. The box is sturdy and well made.

The squirrels love this box--I love watching the squirrels go to the box and help themselves. What wasnt a very pleasant experience was when the raccoons found the box. They couldnt get the peanut out the way it was so they rebuilt the box. They removed the plastic screen and dropped it into the yard. I had a scavenger hunt to find it. But I am really happy with this fun little box. Also, Im not yelling at the squirrels anymore to get out of the squirrel proof bird feeder.

It was fun to watch one squirrel figure it out in no time. Another squirrel figured it would be easier to chew a hole through the lid she that's what he did.[?] . No need to open the lid anymore since it's half gone. It's still fun to use and watch them get the nuts. It is well made and worth getting [?] [?]

It didn't take our squirrels anytime at all to discover how to get in the feeder for their raw peanuts [?] I only gave it a 4 star because the feeder good be made a bit larger. My husband and I live in Florida and we have lots of squirrels. We have learned a long time ago, not to put food in the box every day because soon, you will have a dozen or more squirrels in your yard, which you don't want to happen. I highly recommend this feeder.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality cedar construction of the squirrel munch box. Its very solid (and even smells great altho the squirrels probably wont care about that). After a bit of confusion getting into it they figured out how to open it and maybe theyll leave the bird feeders alone for a while at least.

This squirrel treat box is great! The blue jays can't steal all the peanuts that we put out for the squirrels now. The squirrels can open the lid to get their peanut, but the blue jays can't open the box. The birds will have to be content with the wild bird seed that is left out, which includes some peanuts. [?]

We mounted the box on a stand and it took our resident squirrel 5 minutes to figure it out. So much fun to watch. A great addition to our yard.

The squirrels stay out of the birdseed and eat the peanuts inside the school box. They love it!

My squirrels love it, but without the plastic window. They soon got it up and out of the box slot. Can still fill the box with plenty of nuts for them, and they love to just sit there and eat. If I put the window back, the squirrels just get it out again, so why bother with it. Without the little clear plastic window, the Blue Jays do enjoy the nuts as well from time to time. I feed lots of birds and anywhere from 2-5 squirrels. They all eat the same food so I make sure there is plenty out for all to enjoy. The squirrel box is helpful in giving the squirrels a place to sit and enjoy their nuts. But the maker of it might as well same some money and work and skip the plastic window.

I cant wait until my husband puts this up. Every morning, snow, rain, whatever, my husband and I put out two or three peanuts on the feeder on the telephone pole out back. When it is very snowy, sometimes it is a chore getting out there but I know the kids are waiting. This will help a lot to keep them supplied.

This was a very well made product! I was worried that it might be too small, but it is a good size, beautifully made. It was a Christmas gift and so it had not been tested yet. I may buy another for another gift.
