The resonance of the bell is amazing. It truly promotes tranquility. It doesnt ring in every little breeze so when it does sound, it makes a statement. It is beautiful in appearance as well. I hung mine from a shepherds crook under a tree so it is unobtrusive but the impact is profound.

The Bell sounds and looks Great. The Tone is a very deep and beautiful, we both love the tone of the bell. It was pricey but well worth it. Shipping to Hawaii was very fast. This was a gift to my Wife, shes happy with it so, so am I.

From the description of this wind chime, I expected the tone to be very low. As best I can tell, it is the C below Middle C. That is relatively low, but not really low. As for being tranquil: that depends on the strength of a breeze. Light breezes do indeed produce a peaceful, subtle, slightly muted tone tranquil indeed. If the breeze is more than light, though, the chime becomes more of a clang, and the clangs are loud, so be careful how closely you hang it relative to windows, doors, and neighbors.

I mounted the bell in a windy corner of the roof for maximum exposure. There are several different tones produced by the bell given wind velocity and gustiness. The tone travels quite well through the framework of the house, making the sound pleasingly available to the inside occupants.

Ive been searching for a wonderful deep tone bell and took a chance on this one and Im glad I did. Reminds me of the old monastery bells Ive heard in Hawaii. Exactly what i was looking for.

This was a gift for my mom. She loves the look, the heavy construction, and rich tone of the chime. She wants a few more. Excellent purchase.
