Glass Fish with Sand and Shells

Great gift for early Christmas shopping

I really like this fish. I have a good place for it in my home and it enhances the room. It is larger than I thought it would be but that is a good thing. It came very well packaged.

I gue I never looked to see how big it was. It was nearly 3 x bigger than I anticipated and lots heavier. I still like it just cannot use the way I planned. I wish there had been fewer common shells and some more interesting to search for in the sand.

This really is bigger than it looks online...believe what is listed. It has a nice amount of sand and good-sized shells. The one thing that disappointed a bit was the blue and algae green speckles on the back side of the fish. Not nearly as attractive and tasteful as I had expected. I hoped the colors would have been more subtle, and the green would be in the blue-green/aqua range. The green is garish, lizard green, clashes with the blue, and takes away from the overall esthetics.

This is a substantially heavy and interesting glass sculpture. I put a candle behind it lighting up the fins and edges of the glass. cool piece of art.
