Slightly shorter than our medium size, her gown sits directly on a flat surface with no pedestal. Sculpted by American artist Sylvia Shaw Judson in 1936, the wistful Bird Girl became famous overnight when she was featured on the cover of John Berendt's best-selling book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (and later appeared in the movie). Cast from a durable, weather-resistant mix of fiberglass, resin, and marble with a softly aged finish, she's captivating. Medium statue is 24" tall. 11 lbs. Allow 3-4 weeks. No rush delivery or gift box.

Great statue but lighweight. Within a month of setting it out a very strong wind blew it over breaking the arms and other damage. Suggest epoxy to a stone base or some other means of preventing it being blown over

Package arrived on time and in good perfect condition. Note without a base she needs a very flat surface. the statue was much more substantial than I expected....its not one those cheap resin statues. The finish is very nice.

The statue is simply beautiful. Just the right size. I completely dont mind not having the statue, as I think she looks great with low-growing greenery at her feet. Love it!
