Woodstock: Back to the Garden CD - Set of 10

I very much like this set of 10 cds of the Woodstock long weekend. I was and am a huge music fan. I was 17 when Woodstock happened, and really wanted to go. Many of my friends were going, driving from California to New York. I had 1 problem...mom dad, so I did not attend. I have always had a problem with the exact order that bands played and what time and day. I have Googled it many times and the order of artists and when they played were different in each article I read. How was there not an accurate listing of who played when? Also, did Richie Havens really play for like 3 to 4 hours like people have said, and articles have spoken to...NO he did not! He did like 6 songs and was very well received, but it was in a much shorter time. Before buying the 10 cd set, I purchased the book, also from PBS, The Story of Woodstock Live. An really well researched book that set me straight on who played when, (did Tim Hardin play before or after Melanie) and for how long, and what songs they actually played. My wife has said that Ive been reading the same library book for 6 years, because I fall asleep after reading a couple of pages. Not so with the Woodstock Live book. 5 days and it was done.....AWESOME read for music fans. So I ordered the 10 cd set and have really, really enjoyed it. The 10 cd set may be a bit long for some, so if thats the case, stick to 1 of the original cd sets, which cover the highlights. But I am thrilled with my purchase, and it is on my cd player a ton. The sound is great and with the crowd interaction, it really adds to the listening experience. It has made a 69 year old guy and HAPPY CAMPER!!
