I bought these as a gift for my daughter -- we both love cats and reading. I bought two pair of the other cat socks -- one pair for her and one for me. I really meant to give the single pair with books to her. Somehow, however, they ended up pn my feet in my drawer. So Im back today to buy her a pair. They are a good weight to wear with regulr shoes. The black is not quite a true black, but it didnt seem to be navy blue -- and it looked fine with black pants. I havent worn them with black shoes yet.
