If you enjoyed Alone in the Wilderness, then youll love this! Young and old will get many good feelings watching this well told continuation of Mr. Proennekes adventures of living off the land in the harsh environment of Alaska. Amazing scenery and a much more amazing story!

We loved the first video so much that we ordered both of them for my wifes brother for Christmas. The story draws you right in as if you were exploring with them. One thing to watch is the way they deal with insects. During the summer months there is a explosion of biting insects. While it is never mentioned in the videos, you will notice netting over their heads in many scenes. Wonderful film!

We were excited when we saw this follow up to Alone in the Wilderness and ordered it as soon as we saw it. We were a little disappointed though. We were anxious to see more about Dick Proenneke. This DVD does mention him a few times, but doesnt tell much more about him. It is still one we loved watching and we could listen to the narrator talk for hours, we love his voice and story telling style.
