Thanks to PBS I was introduced to Miranda Esmonde-White's Claical Stretch program. Since March 2020 I have purchased 4 seasons. After 7 months working out for only 22 minutes a day with this program I am the fittest that I have been in 40 years. It is a non-impact aerobic full-body workout even targeting your fingers and toes. Miranda is a natural teacher. She provides clear explanations for the purpose and science behind each activity as she guides you with imagery and encouragement. No matter what your age or present physical condition (those who have never worked out to athletes) this program has something valuable for everyone.

Do as much of each session as you can. It gets easier. The best part is that after a week or so, I found that normal household tasks also get easier. Could I be getting stronger more limber? I do five to seven sessions a week and always feel a little better afterward.

I have been faithful to doing her routine five days a week for 10 years and I am as strong as I need to be for 58 years old and have no more back or sciatica pain like I did when I first started her routines. I watch everyday on Public Television and hate to miss it. Everything she says it will do for your entire body is dead on. I recommend it for all ages. If we cant give ourselves 23 minutes a day that is pretty pathetic. Everyone deserves that much time for themselves and you will never regret starting her program. Ive given her DVDs to my employees in past years as part of wellness education and now ordering Season 12.

Amandas videos help me stay fit at 84. I ALWAYS do one a day, except for one time recently that I did two! In addition, I participate in 50-minute weekly Zumba Gold and line dancing classes. Im tall with sm all bones, and I want to hang onto them and prevent falls. Moving improves my mood as well keeping my body flexible preventing falls. I want to stay active mentally and physically for the rest of my life! Sorry I was unable to add a recent photo. Im smiling.

I have been stretching with Miranda weekday mornings at 6AM for a year. I always feel better afterward. I have neck, back , arm and knee problems. This low impact stretch exercise program has helped me especially with back and neck pain and posture. I am 68 years old and have had problems with back and neck since I was in my 20s. My son and his wife have chronic back and neck problems, so I am getting one for them for Xmas.

Overweight and the brink of a meltdown, I knew instinctively I was having problems with my connective tissue. I already knew about muscle chains, but when I starting having more frequent paid doing simple chores, I knew I was in trouble. I found Miranda through a search about connective tissue and immediately started doing her workouts on the local PBS station. I have been doing the workouts for 10 months now and I have regained all of my mobility and have a huge relief in muscular and joint pain. I have also lost 40 pounds by changing to a low carb diet while indulging in my new favorite workout with Miranda. I have tried many of the fitness trends over the years, but this is THE REAL DEAL, a WHOLE body workout!! How exciting is this??? I just missed out on a opportunity to see Miranda in Sacramento late 2018, I hope she returns soon, as I would love to join a workout session with her awesome team.... I am now able to resume activities that I had not been able to do in many years. Thank you for giving me my life back Miranda!!

Free At Last!

I began exercising with Miranda on PBS about 2 years ago. Im 73 and my health has always been fairly good. But I was beginning to feel awfully stiff when getting up in the morning, not wanting to do anything. It took some grumbling to get going! With Mirandas stretch routine, I feel liberated. My joints move better, my alignment holds up when reaching or walking, preventing falls. And my friends are asking what Im doing to stay young! Several times Ive gone a couple of weeks without Mirandas routine and my posture started to slouch. With just one routine of exercises in the morning, my alignment returned! I noticed that as I got up from the sofa, my shoulders wanted to push back with corrected posture, making me walk straight, tall and easily. The exercises are so low impact and gentle, Ill want to do them into my 90s! Im so glad I found Miranda on PBS and, of course, I have now bought my own set to play for myself, anytime of day.

I have been doing Mirandas classical stretch exercises for years, but recently at age 58, increased how frequently I do them - about 5 times/week. I notice a huge difference in my strength and endurance in normal tasks. I can climb steps w/o pain, garden for 5 hours straight, and have much better posture. I even grew a half inch at my last physical exam! I am very grateful for these DVDs! Thank you!

I love this gal!! I did a couple episodes on the create channel broadcast on Sunday mornings and it was incredible....a superb stretch as well as strengthening. I bought the DVD for my husband to start on his nights away on business and was glad to purchase through pbs. My favorite channel is the create channel and o want to support it ;)
