Reality T.V. masquerading as science.

An excellent example of the dumbing down of PBS science programing. Gratuitous sensationalism. The piece regarding the ant stings to childrens hands was reprehensible and not justified by the staff rationalizations. What next? Graphic portrayals of the sexual mutilation of children? Sad to learn that PBS contributions are being wasted on pot boilers like this.

A great depiction of lifes challenges around these beautiful sites. My husband and I have been to many of these places and was lovely to see a documentary portraying the lives of some of the people too.
