Once in an eternity opportunity

I am such a cheapskate that of all the PBS shows Ive loved, this is the only one I felt compelled to buy. The two hours review all the extra-terrestrial knowledge that has been gained during my lifetime. I want to be able to watch this, periodically, to remind myself how lucky I am to have lived during this speck of time, in which mankind has become so enlightened.

Simply amazing

I love anything about space. And this was spectacular. I watched it on the Nova pbs program and decided to order it. It is impossible to remember all the new information Astromomers have collected.

Top Notch Investigative Work

An extremely well put together look at how large a role human emotion plays in investing, particularly in the formation of investment bubbles. Confirms what weve known or suspected for years about the real estate investment boom and the key role derivatives played in the crash of 2008. Historical precedent is given for investment bubbles which reaches back to 17th c. Holland. Quite thought-provoking and a must see!

Telescopes and Edge of the Universe

As an avid armchair astronomer I enjoyed this program. While I knew most of the astronomical details already, the information on the newest telescopes both working as well as those under construction or contemplated was interesting to me. Ill be ordering the dvd in a couple of weeks.

Precious memories

My grandparents are the elderly couple in this video. My grandmother passed away soon after this episode aired. My grandfather just passed away yesterday and is finally reunited with her. I am so grateful that I can look back and watch this and see them together, holding hands. 3
