Profound and moving
Review by Pbs F. on 07/17/20 review stating Profound and moving
I am very pro a womans rights regarding their bodies. That said, this movie really convinced me that the creation of a human life is truly a miracle and deeply sacred. It should not be created or terminated without serious consideration. I believe all high school aged students should see this documentary as should all newly pregnant women/couples. One of the most important, informative, and thought provoking DVDs I have ever seen. You will never think of pregnancy or the complexity of human development the same after viewing it.

Misrepresented
Review by Grandfather on 07/17/20 review stating Misrepresented
Promotional sales ads misrepresented the contents. Almost all of the content is about the possible abnormalities in the womb, with normal chain of events left out.

9 Months That Made You
Review by Jan G. on 07/17/20 review stating 9 Months That Made You
This is an incredible story of the miracle of development that takes place from the moment of conception. Many facts and photos of aspects of this amazing journey that we had never known about before along side stories of abnormalities not usually taught or brought to light. I bought it for our daughter in law who has given birth to our three eldest grandchildren. I thought anyone who has experienced the miracle of giving birth would have such an appreciation of just how incredible our human bodies and what theyre capable of truly is.

junk science
Review by Nighteagle on 07/17/20 review stating junk science
This appears to be a propaganda film. Bad science to promote transgenderism. If this angers someone for me saying this then you only prove my point and are defensive. There is no such thing as brain receptors not being receptive to testosterone if the body is otherwise receptive. Mind and body are connected not disconnected. So, for the umpteenth time, you cannot justify mental illness with junk science. If brain cells do not respond as they should then it is an abnormality to be treated not butchered with surgery. Surgery and hormonal manipulation is no treatment for mental illness. That is against the Hippocratic oath. Parents who are borderline mentally ill will produce a mentally ill child. It is clear that the parents in this film have flat affects and are delusional from not being grounded emotionally in reality. This is why it takes a village to raise a child. Someone has to have some common sense or be in touch with reality to prevent the parents from destroying their child and not connecting emotionally with the child as this case reveals. Parents are absent emotionally and therefore the child is given free reign to play out delusions and fantasies. No child should be who they think they ought to be. Heck that is why parents exist...to guide the child and provide doses of reality. It is the lack of tribal communities that parents have no checks or balances on mental illness. I am a member of a Tribe and do wish to be destroyed for expressing my opinion and statement of facts.

I suffered from in-utero trauma, and this was so healing! It helped me to understand what was happening as I developed, and how my life was affected by trauma.

Fascinating, incredibly detailed, but simple enough to teach any average person. As an aside, any reader would be hard-pressed to criticize those who were born different as its all a question of luck.

From conception to birth is pictured in stunning details with commentary that will hold one spellbound. This would be an outstanding addition to a sex education course for high school students. Will watch this DVD many times.Ann

I loved this wonderful program and learned so much about the creation of a human being. I would strongly suggest that this DVD be shown in Middle and High schools . The students would gain an appreciation of how human beings are created and the magnificence of birth. I will be sharing my CD with my family and friends.

Fascinating, and wonderful for the whole family. Terrific underlying message of the magnificent uniqueness of every one of us, and as worthy of celebration, not discrimination. I highly recommend this, and wish it was shown in every school in America!

Incredible!
Review by Jody A. on 07/17/20 review stating Incredible!
This film shows the wonders of the human body as revealed by the latest science and reported thru the latest technology. Though not done in a religious theme, it made me appreciate the miracle of life in all its complexity, and I saw the glory of God in a new way. No one can see this film, and come away thinking abortion is okay. The science proves how we are wonderfully made from the moment of conception to birth. Thank you, PBS, for airing it.

Review by Fascinated R. on 07/17/20 review stating Incredible DVD!
I have watched many programs over the years about babies developing in the womb. This program gives the viewer never-before-seen detail of how life starts to the time of birth. As a RN, I found all of the content fascinating with science to back it up. As a strong believer in God, I also see the true miracle life is in the womb and beyond.

Wonderful Information about Human Development
Review by Pbs K. on 07/17/20 review stating Wonderful Information about Human Development
The content of this DVD gives so much great information about how our human bodies are formed in the womb from conception to birth. By using real people from around the world as examples of how our development occurs normally or abnormally, we see how very critical is each phase of the fetal development. Fascinating!
