Command and Control presents the terrifying, true story of what can happen when the weapons built to protect us threaten to become the very source of our own destruction. I love it and I'm in it.

Command and Control is a true life story of the day America's largest nuclear miile ever built, exploded in a silo, just outside the town of Damascus, Arkansas. This explosion blew a 743 ton silo door 300 feet high and 600 feet off the complex. The explosion killed one man, David Livingston, and injured myself and 22 other people. I slid 60 feet on my back up the asphalt entry road. I had burns on my face, neck, back, both hands, a broken eardrum, shattered ankle that required two pins to fix, and a severed Achilles tendon. My portion of the interview in this film documentary starts at the 47 minute mark going towards the back end of the movie. Many of the photos from my personal photo album are in this film , some of them are attached here in this review. Check it out and tell your friends and family to see the movie also.

Command and control
Review by Mark on 07/11/22 review stating Command and control
It shows what could and or will happen when you don't follow the technical orders and regulations. I know I use to work around stuff like that and other things as well. Never take short cuts.

"The implications of disturbances like this are downright terrifying, and Kenner captures that intensity in his documentary via candid interviews, stylish reconstructions, and urgent music, creating a brisk, efficient exploration of a troubling moment in our history, with questions that are very much of this moment." - FlavorWire

4 out of 4 stars
"…this riveting and terrifying tale of human fallibility and weapons of unimaginable power could not be more timely or more alarming. Highly recommended." - Video Librarian
