Blue Gold is a very informative, powerful documentary that shines a light on the water issues that face many nations in our world. We saw it at the Palm Springs Film Festival and were very impressed with the dire situations around the world and how it could affect us in the future. It is easy to follow and an important topic understand, as we cannot live long without water.

The Real Life Quantum of Solace
Review by Gracie G. on 07/17/20 review stating The Real Life Quantum of Solace
We can??_?t live without water. You may have thought it was a human right. But certain corporations have been plotting to control the water supply on this planet for a while now, and have been moving into place around the globe. Now the World Bank has required certain governments to privatize their precious water supply -- make it a corporate commodity answerable only to stockholders -- as a condition to getting a loan. In some places it is now illegal to catch rainwater, because rain is being considered private property, including the United States. The evil of this worldwide corporate grab for control of your most precious resource is practically inconceivable, but it is happening. Blue Gold: World Water Wars is a landmark documentary that every school, library and church should own and show. Do you want the cost of your water to be controlled by private corporations and stockholders only interested in their bottom line? Do you want to give up your right to the water around you, including rain? It is time to get educated and get active. Start with this film.

Propaganda unworthy of PBS
Review by Ca T. on 07/17/20 review stating Propaganda unworthy of PBS
This film is mostly misinformation and sky-is-falling talk from activists and politicians, not scientists. I am a high school teacher who bought this in hopes of finding a modernized version of Cadillac Desert (which is already pretty biased). I am left-leaning, no doubt, but this is fanatical, attempting to put down everything from dams to corporate America. In doing so it loses its value entirely. We must not support this type of film-making! Concern for water resources is very legitimate, but this approach does far more damage than good. Only the uneducated could be moved by this sophomoric work.

If You Care About Our Childrens Future
Review by Pat C. on 07/17/20 review stating If You Care About Our Childrens Future
Hi, I showed this film to one of the high school civic classes. It shows how we as a democracy are slowly giving up our rights to one of our most basic resource, water, to corporations. If you thing Wall Street wrecked our economy, wait until you see how Corporations are trying to wreck our water supply, something we and our children cant live without.

This is the lecture we all need to stay alive. So please watch the documentary and then pass it along to another. Talk to your neighbors and friends. Let your representatives in your state capitol and Washington DC know how important our water situation is. Then pray its not too late.

Review by Vyykin on 07/17/20 review stating A message for the world
This DVD, World Water Wars is yet another global message just as is climate change that we had better rduce our human population numbers if we are to survive. This DVD covered many of the key issues of water shortages. One of the great answers to the pending water shortage and the use of plastic bottles that are fowling our landfills and oceans is....Vyykin. This amazing invention will revolutionize the availablity of water.
