Unfortunate that the story of this extraordinary and influential man is not a mandatory subject of study in schools!! Brilliantly put together, awe-inspiring... a must watch.

What a beautiful story of love, talent, commitment, and understanding. This story made me cry and left me in awe. This story was one of life experiences and how to make the best of every occasion. Just a feel good story of a man that strove to live life to the fullest.

I ordered this for a friend who said I should see it, he wants to view it again after watching it aired on TV. I had no idea that Emile Norman was so innovative. His art is truly unique and I would love to see his work in person, this is probably the next best thing. I want to watch it again also!

The beauty of this artists work is literally breathtaking. I had no knowledge of the man prior to seeing the broadcast. Seeing that presentation certainly motivated me to purchase the DVD. The story of his relationship with his significant other also made a positive impression of what life can be like for a committed couple.

I found Emile Normans story fascinating. But besides the amazing accomplishments and drive of this special man, part of what came to me is how often our very most gifted people are gay. And if that is so, how can a God who values beauty enough to have created it all around us, not value these people--perhaps even more than those of us who have not had to endure their struggles. I would love to have the opportunity to meet this amazing man and tell him how wonderful I think he and his art are.
