With Jan Hus, Bohemian reformer, and Gerolamo Savonarola, Italian reformer, God chose Martin Luther, a German reformer, to bring the printed, living scriptures, the word of God, written, according to the Westminster Confession of Faith, 1646, into its place as the authoratative word of God, (ibid.) revealing Jesus Christ in all His Divine and eternal glory. Another Luther is needed today.

Very well done and educational video on Martin Luthers Life. We watched it and will now put it in the church library for others to watch! Bravo!

Should be mandatory viewing for all Christians and all Catholics!

Wonderfully done and very educational. Who knew so much history in a story of Reform. Will not dissapoint the viewer.

Well written and factually accurate synopsis

I appreciated being kept informed about the status of the shipment. I was extremely glad (both my wife and I are LUTHERANS) that so many people had ordered this DVD. Both of the hour-long programs on KCPT our PBS station in Kansas City, were excellent!! Thanks for your emails notifying me of its status - and it arrived last week in very good shape. I have watched it already, and it is an extremely well-done film, especially with the commentaries by the experts from Union Theol. Seminary, my alma- mater for my masters degree in sacred music, as well las Arizona and Englalnd. Thanks for airing this film, and for making it available on DVD. Thank you! Mark L. I have learned a lot that was not in my History classes

Well put together and a great story!

Well worth spending a couple of hours watching this dramatic recreation of Martin Luthers life. He comes to life as a real human being in this high quality production. Obviously time limitations resulted in a glossing over of some of the most controversial aspects of his ideas and teaching. Martin Luthers contribution to the scorge of anti-semitism is given less than two minutes. A hugh oversight by the producers. The DVD motivated me to read more about his theological contributions to Christianity.

Excellent production on the Protestant Reformation, including insights into Luthers character. He sparked a revolution that changed the course of history. A++

Went to a Catholic school up to the seventh grade and convinced my parents to free me from their abuse. Had the good fortune to meet with my fellow class mates at a Senior High reunion. The three of us no longer practice that religion, did not go into the reason why at lunch. After all these years my convictions were right but still have a void left by the Catholic Church, thanks for the program.

Much better understanding of the political arena and the necessary reform steps taken by Martin Luther, who was a reluctant participant, but held to his beliefs.
