They visit the stunning grottoes of Rosh Hanikra and share the epic story of Masada. They travel the Sea of Galilee and raft the Jordan River. They discover hidden gems beneath the Old City of Jerusalem, experience the natural wonders of the Dead Sea, and play a fast-paced match with a joint Israeli-Arab soccer club. Netanyahu and Greenberg also venture into locations not in guidebooks that hold special meaning to the Prime Minister and yet they are entirely accessible to any traveler. And, Greenberg also sits down with the Prime Minister for a candid and unrehearsed discussion about the ever-changing state of affairs in the Middle East.

Peter Greenberg is a multiple Emmy® Award-winning investigative journalist, host and producer. He is best known as the Travel Editor for CBS News, appearing on CBS This Morning, the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, and CBS Sunday Morning. This DVD was a great buy. It provided some information most people do not know or get to see. It also gives a personal view of the Prime Minister. The scenery is great and puts todays Israel into focus using history and their culture of today. I would high;y recommend this DVD, even for those who have visited as I have because it provides information and scenery most wont see, even if they visit.

The Royal Tour takes us to places that are not ordinarily seen in the Holy Land. We also see a side to Prime Minister Netanyahu that is normally hidden. Also the extra program revealing the making of the tour, was especially enjoyable. Finally, my family highly recommends the viewing of this education documentary.

Ive been longing to visit the Middle East since I was a boy but have been afraid to do so. After watching this splendid documentary, my fear of visiting Israel has gone up in smoke! Not only is the country very beautiful, it is full of places of great historical and spiritual significance to me. Having Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as host was an unexpected surprise: I had not had a positive image of a man I didnt know! Im always glad to be wrong because it means I have learned something. This man is courageous, brilliant, and has a wonderful sense of humor! Watch this DVD and you too will want to visit our spiritual homeland.

I DONT WACH TV THAT MUCH, BUT I FOUND THIS PROGRAM BEAUTIFUL AND WORTH EVERY SECOND OF IT. I HAVE ORDEREDR A COUPLE OF COPIES BOTH FOR MY LIBRARY,ALSO PERFECT TO USE AS TEACHING TOOL.

I bought this program after seeing it at a reunion of our Israel tour group. I was impressed by Netanyahu standing where our group picture was made at Masada. Beautifully crafted, it is a mere sample platter of the historical jewels of Israel, as was the actual tour we took itself. My daughter, who did not go with us, thought it was more like a travelogue and was boring, but if you are interested in Israel, in any fashion, this DVD will whet your appetite for more.

I really enjoyed the Royal tour DVD. It gave great insight into the life of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The many aerial and wide angle shots of many locatations throughout Israel gave me a perspective that I have never seen before.

I really enjoyed this DVD. You get a bit of a tour of Israel, and even more, a good feel for who Benjamin Netanyahu is and what drives him. This DVD is pure entertainment - you wont be bored - it has humor, pathos, and history. A well-spent hour of viewing!
