Collision

Have not watched yet, but ordering and delivery service was easy. Love all the shows on PBS. This was a birthday gift from my children. Thank you so much. Will review again when I actually watch the video. Keep up your good work.

Engrossing

I had the opportunity to watch both installments of Collision and couldnt tear myself away. It deftly wove together the human stories of its victims with the mystery of the collision. This is storytelling at its best.

More than tangled fenders

Tonight I watched the first installment of COLLISION. I could not leave my chair. Not since THE WIRE have I been so enthralled by a television series. Intersecting lives, threads beginning to slowly untangle will captivate you, and best of all the cast is simply amazing.

Great show...but...NO ClOSED CAPTIONS as advertised!

Superb plot, intertwined and engaging...but, was very disappointed there were NO CLOSED CAPTIONS as advertised. Would advise not to purchase if you are hearing impaired.

Meh

It was just ok. To be honest, I bought this to watch a particular actor, and he was in it a lot less than Ive seen. I think this program was edited for American audiences, which was somewhat disappointing. Seemed to drag on forever at one point.

It was remade but this version is better

It is the story that the American movie Crash was based on. I prefer this version of the story to that one. It is much more mysterious and does not treat the viewer as dumb as the big budget movie does.

Collision - abridged from original

The original 5 hr mini-series was excellent. Was very disappointed that it was shortened to 3.5 hrs for the DVD. Still OK, but the ending (cause of the accident) referred back to something that happened in the beginning of the mini-series, that had been cut out of the DVD version.

ALL IS NOT AS IT APPEARS

Heres an incident that, on face value, is nothing more than a chain reaction auto calamity. But as the investigation proceeds we begin to see that there are multiple stories converging on this British highway,and they are not all pleasant. What has happened is a mystery, but the mist is slowly cleared by the investigative couple with a mystery of their own. Its a great story within a story within a story.......

Gripping...as usual for the Brits.

This is not a review but rather it is a question. How did the key with the computer download wind up in the hands of Morris/Norris, the piano teacher and his fellow trekkie? I dont see his connection to Karen (the secretary) Will some-one/anyone please enlighten me?
