Astounding animal....outstanding video
Review by Gladly T. on 07/17/20 review stating Astounding animal....outstanding video
I could not take my eyes from the screen. This fish can do things only an alien from space should be able to do...in fact, you start thinking it is an alien from space. The most astounding talent, shown in the video, was the cuttlefishs ability to produce waves of different colors that crossed its body like neon lights...unbelievable...jaw-dropping...gotta see it to believe it. And wait till you hear about its brain size, and its life span...hard to believe it is of this earth.

Marvelous Animals
Review by Sarah L. on 07/17/20 review stating Marvelous Animals
I was excited to get this episide because I have always been interested in cuttlefish since seeing a documentary on them years ago. This taught me more than anything I have been able to view and the new discoveries they made are fascinating! I love nature programs and feel that this was at the top of most I have seen. How amazing. It makes we want to be a teacher so I could share this with classes for years to come. Worth buying and it satisfies the part of you looking for knowledge, while another part of you just cannot wait to hear more discoveries on this wonderful creature. I look forward to whatever new episodes they can make.

I watched it on PBS last night, Amazing creature ~ they are able to shapeshift into any color/pattern/texture in an instant. They are intelligent and are well evolved. Helps me to dream to be more of who I am. Thank you for a wonderful program that otherwise I would never see or meet these sea creatures. The program got better and better the more I watched. Thank you!

Excellent video!
Review by Jef on 07/17/20 review stating Excellent video!
First of all, there are not any other videos out there focusing on cuttlefish that I am aware of...which would make this a pretty rare DVD. I find these creatures fascinating...and originally saw this presentation on the NOVA program on television. I was pleasantly surprised to see it available on DVD as I was actually looking for a different DVD at the time. This disc is very informative, and features some really good video footage. I would recommend it for anyone who is interested in observing and learning more about cuttlefish.

Clever Cuttlefish
Review by Dr. K. on 07/17/20 review stating Clever Cuttlefish
This is a beautiful and enlightening documentary on the little-known cuttlefish. The commentary from expert scientists is both informative and entertaining, and the underwater footage of the various species of cuttlefish in awe-inspiring action (almost) does justice to the drastically changing colors, textures, and shapes demonstrated by these creatures. Perhaps even more amazing is the ongoing study of their intelligence by cognitive scientists. Can you imagine any other mollusk learning how to maneuver a maze based on two separate visual cues?? Highly recommended for all ages.
