Presented for the non-scientific expert in a way that is understandable and informative. The graphics enhance and secure learning the theories and how things are linked together in our Universe.

Quality was great. I support PBS. Brian Greene is my favorite theoretical physicist. He has a down to earth way of explaining things. Thanks for ALL the other things PBS does. You were in the classroom before YouTube. In the past, PBS has helped students more than all the others put together and I can prove that. Stephen Whitt, Iva, SC

I bought and read the book after viewing this video. Love the special effects used to communicate big ideas visually as well as with words.

This is what TV should be!
Review by Macthebear on 07/17/20 review stating This is what TV should be!
A delightful, thought-provoking program which makes perfect use of high-tech video techniques to help the non-scientist grasp (at least somewhat) very difficult concepts. This program is not for those who closed their minds and shut off their imaginations when they grew up. This is for folks who want to go where theyve never been; Brian Greene takes them there, and its a great trip!

Very didactic
Review by Nil on 07/17/20 review stating Very didactic
The string theory (particularly the math involved) is very hard to grasp even for physicists. However the production managed to go around the esoteric nature of the subject using intelligent examples, making it much easy to understand. I would like to add that since the production is already eight years old and due the fast gathering of new discovers on this area of the research, it could be a good idea to add new DVDs to this serie actualizing the information (sort of collection)

Excellent Insight into String Theory
Review by Jim E. on 07/17/20 review stating Excellent Insight into String Theory
First of all you have to have some interest in science after that this is great. Even if you just have a high school background in physics you can get what Brian Green is talking about. It is a definite eye opener and leaves you breathlessly awaiting for what theoretical physics comes up with next.

Great explanation. Too much reivew of previous parts when a new part is started. The three hours could have easily been done in two hours without loss of explanations.
