Hampton Court Palace

Very informative. Very historical to Henry VIII reign. What a huge palace this is and to think that it was built in Medievil times. I can recommend this vid.

camera work

the horrid camera work completely distracts from this broadcast. panning wide-angles - same scene, from left to right and then right to left. with all that glory there should have been something more.

WOW

While in London for 6 weeks I saw the London Eye, Courtauld,, Victoria and Alberts, Stonehenge, Grennwhich, Trafalgar Square, the Tate, St. Pauls, the Tower of London and many more. Hampton Court was my favorite. If you are not sure you want to go or not watch this DVD and you will want to go. If you are going make sure you see this first. I watched this 2 days after visiting Hampton Court. This made me want to go back and visit it again to see the things I had missed.

Hampton Court Palace, Fit For A King

The Tudors are a special interest of mine for many reasons, especially Henry the VIII and his daughter, Elizabeth the I. Hampton Court is a fascinating place, not only visually but the intrigues and politics make it even more special. The DVD brings it to life and you can almost feel as though Henry is still in residence waiting to make his appearance. Its very special to be able to see this palace and hear the stories of what took place within its walls. Wonderful experience!

Interesting Tour of History

I enjoyed the tour and the history of Hampton Court because I love anything to do with the history of the kings and queens of England. I did expect a bit more for the price but was satisfied with the sixty minute presentation.
