Secrets of Underground London is very educational!

Wonderful DVD. I had no idea of the fascinating history under Londons streets. Great entertainment.

Full Length Unlike PBS Showing on TV

Received this show as a gift and saw it on TV tonight. PBS seems to run shows like this by chopping off a good amount of the original show without telling the viewer. It seems that viewers who provide PBS with membership funds to buy shows that are then chopped up is a seriously flawed approach to public television. To see the entire show one has to then pay for the DVD. PBS...We show parts of the original. PBS...where else can you see 80% of fine television. Perhaps, during pledge week, PBS can run all the video removed from their fine shows during the rest of the year?

Fascinating vignettes

I use the segments of The British Library and the British Museum in my graduate school research class so students get an idea of the type of resources such places provide. Then I talk history with my brother about the War Room Underground during WWII. Great balance between interviewing people, guided tours, and photography.

Wonderful history of underground world

This DVDS like the others in the series are wonderfully produced giving a great impression of life in centuries past. It explained the way people lived and how important the water supply was and how the need for a sewage system came about. Very informative. Definitely worth it!

excellent information

This is the most interesting DVD about the London Underground, the Museum of London, The Churchill War Rooms and much more. I lived in London for several years and I didnt know there was so much more to learn.

THE BEST LONDON VIDEO YET!

I absolutely loved this expose of Londons best kept secrets. If you love London as much as I do, or simply are curious, this is a great video to enjoy with friends and family. It also makes a great gift for travel buffs!
