Good for coaching beginning players
Review by Mjuyeno on 07/17/20 review stating Good for coaching beginning players
This is a good demonstration of how someone can teach tennis using principles Tim discovered and revealed in The Inner Game of Tennis. I dont believe that beginning players can use this video to learn to play tennis on their own, although novice players may benefit from some of the exercises in the video. The video teaches how to coach using the same ideas of Inner Tennis, with minimal verbalization of how and why, and more emphasis on doing. For coaches to use this video to maximum benefit, they must be familiar with the concepts of the Inner Game. Im not sure anyone can learn and understand the Inner Game from the video. I was really looking for a PBS series Tim did many years ago that used a class of beginning/intermediate players that better explained the ideas of the inner game.
