This yoga video has done wonders for me! I ruptured a lumbar disc several years back, tried physical therapy twice, a year of massage therapy and deep breating exercises. I am now pain free and more active again due to slowly doing this video . Bless you Peggy Cappy !

Ive been using this DVD in combination with Peggys Easy Yoga: The Secret to Strength Balance. Between the 2 of them they address the aches associated with working at a computer all day. It took about 3-4 times doing this program to feel like I was making progress. Ive had the DVD 2.5 months and doing the program 2 or 3 times a week keeps me feeling good (I followed one of Peggys DVDs nearly every day when I first started.) The one down side is the camera work--sometimes the camera is focused on a different part of the body than what shes talking about. The DVD is made up of 7 sections, sometimes I do all and sometimes just a few. Usually if I start with the intention to do only one, I keep going because Im so relaxed. 1. Restorative poses 2. On the back--leg and back stretches 3. On the side--half bow pose; On hands and knees--leg and back stretches 4. On the belly--locust and cobra pose variations 5. Hamstring stretches 6. Three part breath exercise 7. Guided relaxation Overall, I find Peggys videos to be easier to follow (and less frustrating) than other beginner yoga videos. Do what you can and dont worry beyond that.

havent had a chance to give the program full attention, but just a couple of things that she suggests hit home and will keep me on track for successfully dealing with a schedule.

Although her voice can almost agonizingly whispery, Ms. Cappy gives clear, helpful instructions and has organized the content logically. Since I have only been doing the movements for a week, I cant say whether they will have a dramatic effect on my back aches, but I can say that there seems to be some relief. The instructions for breathing exercises are also helpful relaxation tools.

Very helpful Yoga DVD for beginners and easy to use. Can choose from a variety of sections. Glad that there is no background music but the exercises and stretches help one relax and strengthen muscles that then relieve one of back pain.

Although I believe in its restorative powers, I normally dont have patience for Yoga. This is the first DVD that helped me to understand how to coordinate breathing and movement. If I cant go for a whole session, I just do the 15 minute relaxation and feel like Ive slept for an hour or two. I do some portion of this at least 3 times a week and this over 70 woman has less aches pains.

I absolutely love this DVD! The yoga stretches are so simple, yet so extremely effective. I bought this DVD to strengthen my lower back. So far, I love the results. After a month of doing the routines, I wake up in the morning and my back feels great, with no pain or stiffness throughout the day. Peggy Cappy is fantastic. And the exercises are SO EASY. You can even choose the exercises/stretches you want and incorporate them into your own evening/morning stretching routine. Even if you have the worst back problems, these stretches cannot hurt you. They can only help you. If you want a yoga/stretching routine that will truly help your back and is unbelievably easy, get this DVD. Peggy Cappy will take 10 years off of your spine.
