The Lost Children of Rockdale County
Review by Ford W. on 07/17/20 review stating The Lost Children of Rockdale County
This is a tragic as well as compelling documentary. The images I saw have never left me. I saddens me to see evidence that my worse fears have been actualized. After working hard, earning a good salary and buying a nice home in suburbia we have created our own nightmare. It saddens me also that so many of my friends are in denial. Every school teacher, every social worker, every pastor should watch this.

Western Civilization is Over
Review by The P. on 07/17/20 review stating Western Civilization is Over
If you want to know why America is headed into the toilet. Just watch this documentary. It documents the breakup of families and the effects on the children. Everyone in America needs to see this documentary. Three cheers to the producers. I bought it and gave it to a high school principal to watch to determine if it was an isolated incident or not. I profess to be a very conservative person, but all the liberals that have talked to who have seen it become very depressed. The first person that told me about it was an atheist. His response was Western Civilization was over. We need young men to love their women. Sex before marriage will destroy young mens hearts and they will be irresponsible. They will only think about theirselves. They will not care about their wives or their children. As the Bible says, wine and whoredom doth take away the heart. Without responsible men, our nation is doomed to failure. We have to wake up and love our women and our children. Parents have to guide their children. This film documents parents not wanting to fulfil their responsibilities. You will be shocked by how profound the producers of this discoverd the truth. They should have gotten an Oscar for best picture.

shocked!
Review by Tjk on 07/17/20 review stating shocked!
I guess I really shouldnt be shocked because a lot of the children had absent parents. And, when in a group it is very hard for anyone to nonconform. But, the ages of children (13, 14, 15 year old girls having group sex w several boys at a time) is enough to send any parent going to homeschooling where they wont be near this. The silver lining here are the young ladies who truly are able to stick to their virginity and wait until they fall in love with someone. As a father of 2 boys I really think the fathers in this Frontline episode showed restaint in not pursuing these boys who abused their girls. There was a wide disperity in ages that makes me feel it was criminal due to intoxicating the girls beforehand.A great wakeup call to parents everywhere.Kudos to Frontline.

Someone suggested a II
Review by Tom M. on 07/17/20 review stating Someone suggested a II
Just recently encountered a report on drug abuses of minors at schools in Colorado with the new drug laws as they are. A few years back I was trying to disseminate copies of this for use in communities to be used by parents with their families. I read some reviews and considerations but the key issues I felt revolved around behaviors associated with drug use by minors. I believe even the President felt this documentary had no relevant current use but everyone sees what they believe they see. Rockdale County isnt a bad place or different that many other communities throughout the US. I dont believe you can do to communities what Potheads in Colorado mistakingly did without first addressing the problems it would entail or create. Im thinking this is still an excellant tool to address issues probably soon to surface with the legalization of social drugs many individuals inclusive of parents make available to children much in the same light as they will with alcohol another problem addressed in the documentary.

An uncomfortable must watch video
Review by Ford W. on 07/17/20 review stating An uncomfortable must watch video
This documentary concerns a heretofore unheard of problem, an epidemic of venerial disease among early teen caucasians from well-to-do families. Modern suburbia isnt the refuse from social problems and misbehaving teens that upwardly mobile parents have thought. Listen to interviews of young girls that have had over 100 sexual partners prior to their sweet sixteenth birthday, sometimes having intercourse with as many as three young boys simultaneously. Believe it or not this could be representative of a neighborhood near you. Their stories are not unique. If you: have teenagers, work with teenagers or want to, you must watch this video. Please be prepared to be shocked with the candor.
