Smithsonian Timelines of Everything

I purchased two of these over the holidays. One was for a college student who is studying history, and it was well received. The other was for an older gentleman with dementia, but who always loved history and loves to talk about it. He cant seem to put this book down. Its great in that there isnt a ton of verbose passages/text. Short snippets and loads of images. Some of the text is small, but he happily sits with his little magnifying glass and this book for hours. Its been a wonderful pastime for him, and the book is high quality.

My friend who we gave the book to for Chanukah was really excited by the Timelines of Everything book. From what I saw of it, it is a beautiful as well as interesting book.

I gave t to my father for Christmas. He loves books. And he is loving this one! He has it on his living room table and reads through it every time he has a chance. It is a beautiful book and I look forward to sitting down with him and share his reading.

I love the book, but was expecting it to be a little more current...some only info to 2017.

Love these timelines as they put events of history into a context for more thorough understanding.
