Been watching Masterpiece programs on PBS since 1970's. All Creatures... is definitely one of the best !!! When I feel sad or burdened with worries, watching an episode of All Creatures... always cheers me up. Thank you!

This series is so good. With all the garbage on television now days it is so nice to watch something you could actually watch and enjoy with your children and grandchildren. Wonderful series!

A beautiful take on the original stories

These stories have been an integral part of the fabric of my life since I was young and this latest heart-warming retelling, with its focus on bringing the central characters to life, makes me very happy. For folks who love the stories for its comedy, I would have to say that this most recent series is more in the drama-with-comedic elements catagory. The poignancy of the stories remain, as does the life-affirming nature of the original works.

A Wonderful Series

I watched these when they were streaming and they were excellent. (My aunt had purchased the book for me when I was in high school and I had really enjoyed it.) I gave this to my parents' for Christmas and they were genuinely excited to see it as somehow they'd seen the second season already, but not the first. (Usually they're polite when receiving gifts. This is the first time I can recall my mom being excited.)

This was the best series

I ordered this title in December as a Christmas present for my son and his family. The package arrived promptly and in good condition and the order process was straightforward and easy to follow. We think PBS is a national treasure and we enjoy all their programming, especially All Creatures!

The Perfect Antidote to COVID Isolation

This is such a delightful series. The actor playing James Herriot is brilliant, as are all the cast. It really makes you yearn for a simplier time, with fewer distractions and problems- just simple people with integrity carrying on the important work of keeping livestock and animals (including human animals) well. The acting is first rate, and the filming locations beautiful. It was so nice to escape into the series.

Best show made in years! EXCELLENT!

We are more than delighted with our All Creatures Great and Small DVD set. We watched the series on TV and knew before the series had finished that we wanted to own this show! We bought the set and shared it with my parents who have been in Covid lockdown. They absolutely loved it as well and it brought much joy! This is hands-down one of the very best shows we have watched in years. Wonderful acting, beautiful setting and terrific plots. An amazing show you can be proud to show anyone. We cant wait for the next season and hope it continues for years to come!! Well done!
