Thousands of prehistoric footprints left by Ice Age humans and animals stretch for miles across the blinding white surfaces of New Mexico's White Sands National Park. The phenomenal collection of prints preserves a unique series of snapshots of life and behavior, capturing moments when humans crossed paths with extinct Ice Age beasts, including enormous ground sloths and mammoths.

Frozen in time, these intimate traces of human and animal activity represent evidence unknowable from any other type of archeological find. Not only do the tracks reveal remarkable details about life in the Ice Age, but radiocarbon dating of the footprints provides important new evidence about the peopling of the Americas.

Ice Age Footprints - fascinating science research revelations of ancient Native American History and Historic Southern USA Migrations
Review by Frederick W. on 11/01/23 review stating Ice Age Footprints - fascinating science research revelations of ancient Native American History and Historic Southern USA Migrations
After watching this on YouTube - I was so intrigued by some of the newest scientific revelations of Native Americans Migrations - pre-dating the standard concept of 15,000. years. Scientists now think, the preserved New Mexico footprints by humans and Mega Fauna of the time, actually go back earlier to around 21,000. years. White Sands New Mexico has multiple geological layers of preserved tracks, footprints, some seeds too. I think carbon dating has illustrated pre-history southern migrations originating between 15,000. and 21,000. years. Much earlier than what is called the Clovis Culture of Native American Migrations across the United States. Scientists duplicate some of the daily life track marks such as dragging objects (wild game ie Mammoth or Sloths hunted) with sticks and branches as ancient Native Americans may have done. Other foot prints include Giant Sloths, childrens foot prints, etc. I simply need my own official DVD to show my kids and family.
