It was bought for a gift to my daughter. She loves it. Im glad I discovered PBS store.

This is the reason why I buy select dvds from pbs. Great, clean, honest to goodness stories about things I love with hardly any of the gay scenes that seem to invade most scenes today. I will support this kind of work. Thanks

Ive been watching Call the Midwife for years, although I missed the early seasons. Ive described the stunning writing and the realism of life in the docklands of the Thames to many friends. Until I started showing the episodes in my TV room, they couldnt truly grasp the immense depth and breadth of the series. They do now! I bought the entire 12 seasons, and was thrilled to see some of the familiar faces in Season 1, Episode 1 who are still with Midwife at the end of Season 12. Looking forward to adding Season 13 to my collection soon. Thank you for presenting a story that can tear you apart and then bring a joyous moment--floods of tears in either case!

I have every season and have been hooked from day one! Recommend this series! Entertaining and enlightening!

Love all of the Call The Midwife series. As a nurse I enjoy the realistic stories. I always end up being a sobbing idiot. I have never watched a birth that I haven't cried, the miracle of birth is amazing.

Each Call The Midwife Season has been a pleasure to watch, always shares some history from the time period. I will be sad when the series is over, but I do know I will rewatch the series.
