As WWII ends, British soldiers are demobilized ("demobbed") and returned to civilian life. Captain Ian Deasey (Griff Rhys Jones, Alas Smith & Jones) and Corporal Dick Dobson (Martin Clunes, Doc Martin) spent much of the war entertaining the troops with their bawdy stage routines.
