Navajo Code Talkers of World War II DVD

Although the Navajo Code Breakers were important to the success of the World War, the video was not insightful. Ive seen other movies, etc. about the subject, but this video was just interviews instead of actual facts.

I only wish this was longer! The stories presented are fascinating.

I am a trained Cryptographer so the idea of how the Navijo Language was used to make a code was of great interest. However what really caused my greatest interest was my Fathers war time service on the USS President Monroe which was a President Jackson Attack Transport and one of the ships that hauled the actual Code Talkers to Iwo Jima where their ability to confuse the Japanese was a constant issue for the Japanese. That the Japanese did capture a couple of Native Americians and wrongly assume they knew the codes was a tragic end for those brave soldiers as well.
