Inspector Morse: The Complete Series DVD

I have so enjoyed Inspector Morse ! I'm happy to support PBS. I have also purchased Inspector Lewis. Wonderful British Mysteries!!

Not bad we are enjoying

I have enjoyed the DVDs I have watched so far and have realized that I missed many of the early episodes.

My husband and I are watching the Inspector Morse series as our after dinner entertainment. We are enjoying the stories and getting to know Morse's little idiosyncrasies: fondne for a good pint or two, loud claical music, and partiality to an attractive woman...even if she happens to be the murderer! The plots are interesting, but complicated. After each episode we find ourselves questioning But what about this? Perhaps it will become easier as we become accustomed to the creative style of writing! It is nice to think for a change!

Enjoying watching Morse again

Read all the books, my neighbor and I cried our hearts out when he died. We also watched when pbs aired the series. Bought for myself for the new year, because this series captured a fabulous character.

Great characters and wonderfully complex stories that run the gamut of human intentions and emotions.

I became a fan of Morse last season when it was on GPB on Thursday nights. When it was replaced with another program I was very disappointed and decided I had to see the rest of the series. I have not been disappointed!

Morse is BACK! My husband and I LOVED this series when it first aired. I later purchased the series as a Christmas present for my husband. The set came packaged in a very nice wooden box. However, 10 years later it is unwatchable on an HD TV due todistortion in the width. This remaster version is crisp and almost perfect except for a slight distortion. We are so happy to have found this remastered version on the PBS website. Thank you to whoever is responsible for making this series available in its present form.

Film old but not your fault. One of the discs did not work. Still seeing and love Morse and seeing the history and development of him and the series.

Each episode is unique, every plot original. Disparate clues are woven together into usually unexpected solutions. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Subtitles are necessary because of accents and not great audio. A path setter for mysteries which have followed.

So glad I found this again, remembered from years ago! Great price!
