Fantastic!

Lively and entertaining!

This is a great story about the Penguins and their lifestyles. We watched it and love it. We are birders and travel. Watching the story made you feel right like you were with them and wanted to go there. Its great to be around birds!

Great story for birders!

This is a great story for all people including birders. It shows the life styles a and skills of the Owl. My husband and I belong to the Bird Club and this really is an enjoyable DVD!

Great heartwarming story!

I went to the Panama with my husband. This reminds me of the three-toed sloth Maria. This is a wonderful story and one you want to always remember about wildlife when you see and protect! Always watch when any animal is crossing the road and you are driving, they come first!

Nature lovers will be captivated!

Fascinating and absolutely darling little toddlers doing what they do naturally. Educational and heart warming to see how parents of young ones, primarily the mothers, will take such vigilant care of their offspring. Some perilous close calls will have you on edge, but instinct will prevail and these inexperienced youngsters do survive the seemingly impossible. Highly recommend to share with your children, grandchildren and all nature lovers.

if you love animals, youll enjoy this series

How amazing the home building skills of animals are. I enjoyed watching nests being constructed and learned more about beavers than I ever knew before. There was a little hoke here and there but overall, well worth watching.

Fascinating!

These monkeys are amazing. They look like Yoda but with big, red lips. What we found so fascinating about this film is the dedication of the scientists and filming crew to follow a certain family unit of these monkeys and learn how altruistic these monkeys are.

NATURE AT ITS BEST

totally awesome and a complete dream of what family life is all about for these beautiful creatures. Showing and inviting us to enter their society of family life...both good and bad. Showing relationships with peers and even the loss of a parent. Finally an ending that is not only happy, but realistic.

Very Informative

The documentary was very informative. Tracking the family life of snub nosed monkeys, alongside the views of the monks about life and nature was very creative. The film avoided being self-righteous. I will add it to my student watch list.

Unforgettable Smile Transfers to Humans

I viewed this magnificent documentary on PBS, and have been obsessed with the images ever since. Now Im picking up one DVD for me, and one for my grandson. If only there were a big poster of this animals smile, so I could see him each morning when I wake up. When you see Ana with her sloth child in her arms, you will notice the matching smiles. Maybe these animals are medicine for the world.

Sloths! I didnt know.

Velcro is so special, as is Ana. Sloths are light weight. Sloths fling their arms to direct their fall from trees! Not a lazy animal at all, just likes naps a lot (a lot like me). I LOVE sloths and I am buying this DVD for folks for Christmas.
