Even better the 2nd time!
Review by Mary W. review stating Even better the 2nd time!
Mom had bought and loved and given away this film. Soon after she moved in with us she began talking about it -alot! (WE didnt let on wed actually travelled segments of the Lincoln Hwy!) But it was obvious that it would make an ideal Christmas present and so it was. She was delighted to share something that even my husband enjoyed. It brought back memories of great trips across country on several occasions -both with my folks when I was a teen and with my husband and kids. Thanks for a well documented and fun production.

Excellent and Interesting Show
Review by J L. review stating Excellent and Interesting Show
This is an incredibly interesting documentary of the highway that goes from coast to coast - Highway 30. The history is fascinating and this video brings it to life. I have always known about Rt. 66 but never heard of the Lincoln Highway. And I grew up in CO and traveled WY a lot. Very eye opening. It is so sad too to see much of history along this road going by the wayside.

WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! AND ROAD TRIP
Review by 1938 C. review stating WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! AND ROAD TRIP
This Lincoln highway dvd had so many places to see and roads to travel. We loved the motor courts and actually purchased a motor court from the 1940s and plan to restore them and allow people to enjoy them as we would. We collect antique cars and we are not living near the lincoln highway, but would love to travel this route someday. Thankyou for sharing this with the world, PBS, you never stop amazing us with the greatest shows and documentaries that television has to offer.
