American Experience: Two Days in Octobe
Review by Busman review stating American Experience: Two Days in Octobe
Perhaps the finest piece of journalism I have ever seen, this story follows the events -- within 36-hours of each other -- one event in Viet Nam, the other at the University of Wisconsin on the Madison campus. It has to do with a serious engagement, on the battle field, by American troops and, subsequent events -- back home -- on the campus in Madison, perhapsthe first anti-Viet Nam sit-in that remains troublesome even to this day. It is a must see for all baby boomers and students of American history.
