Not only does this documentary offer a glimpse into what has and is happening within the fabric of America. It is a must-see for any young person who has unrealistic expectations about life, and uncertain about acquiring a college education or certificate. Living in these financially challenging times, it is through the lives of these incredible families this documentary provides a revealing look at possible outcomes that could happen to anyone.

Worth passing on to my grandchildren about the realities of life and how these courageous families chose to deal with the many challenges and heartbreaks that they faced.

The best movie in its class

I am a union worker and for some reason I feel as its looked as a bad thing by many Americans. There are usually two groups of people that are agains unions. Group one: the people who dont have an education and work for very little compensation are a usually a little jealous and will make remarks. Group two: this group is very narrow minded even thought the have higher education. They believe that we are overpaid and cant get fired because the union will protect us. Both of their beliefs are false and ignorant. I havent seen anyone get filthy rich from these jobs and people do get fired. Unions take care of their members (at least my union does) in every aspect: insurance, pension, food bank for those in need, etc... so that there is no need to rely on the government assistance. I give my heart out to the families in this film. They are hard working people who deserve to have their immediate necessities met... the goverment allowed this to happen. Its part of the population control and to keep people stupid. No matter what race you are.... we are all slaves. Its going to take a movement like the Solidarnosc (Solidarity) in order to make any changes. But who is going to do it if no one is though unionism.
