"…there's something addictive and delicious that keeps one coming back to Indian Summers, whether it is the incredible acting from the powerful cast, the beautiful sets and landscapes of Penang, Malaysia standing in for Colonial India, or the remarkable character developments from the writers.Indian Summers sways along like a warm tropical breeze before the monsoons. It's a stormy delight of passions, intrigues, and romance set in the days before Indian independence and it percolates and simmers…The second season does better at folding in some of the wider points of the era and quickening the pace, while also maintaining the gorgeous production and core of the series." - TheatreByte

Outstanding Writing, Acting and Production; I own season One
Review by Srose review stating Outstanding Writing, Acting and Production; I own season One
This is a series that one can enjoy over and over again. The location is part of the depth of this production. So much attention to detail is rare in film these days. Thoroughly entertaining. I love the complexity of the characters.

Indian Summers season 2
Review by Pat G. review stating Indian Summers season 2
This was an excellent series. The acting was superb and the characters complex as we humans are. Enjoyed the truth of the politics of that time, the suppression of India under British rule and the reason why Gandhi opposed violence.I hope another season will be considered.
