I love everything about this entertaining production of a childrens classic. Delightful characters, costumes, makeup, dialogue, sets, script. Superbly done and a model for other producers to emulate.

The Wind in the Willows that I knew while I lived in Scotland, raising my young children, was animated. They loved it! By the cover of this DVD, this appears that it is NOT animation...but then, they may be picturing the voice actors... So the question is, is this an animated version, or not? For, I know for sure that it is a delightful story...but I wanted to gift my now-grown son with the same Wind in the Willows that he loved, for his child. Thanks for any help!

I recommend this film for all ages. Your children will cherish the dramatization of one of the great childrens books in English and your adult child will love watching it again and again. Ratty, Mole, Toad and the others come brilliantly to life in this parody of the human comedy.
