Great intro to my Robotics unit

I use this as an intro to my Robotics unit in my classroom. We start off using Carnegie Mellons RobotC curriculum (Go TEAM RED!), so there is a great connection to what happens in the video and what will happen in class.

Great for math, cs robotics educators!

I have used this DVD in my classroom for years and the students never tire of it! Its gripping story telling belies the fact that it covers the key areas of technology development (even getting back up from failure). Many of the key players are still in the industry so an add-on where are they now assignment demonstrates just how far weve come from this challenge.

I personalty think that the movie is great, and my son adores it too! Great rainy day movie for 12-100 year olds, who like robotics. GO STANLEY!
