Map Puzzle covers an area of 5 miles north-to-south and 7.5 miles east-to-west, showing main roads, contour lines, infrastructure, water features and more. Each is 400 pieces, 1.5 mm millboard, finished size 18 1/2" x 12 1/4". Specify full postal address (USA only) including street number and name, city, state, and ZIP code. Please note: the puzzle does not include image guides. Arrives in an attractive gift box that can be used for storage. Allow 2-3 weeks. No rush delivery or gift box. Alaska addresses are not available.

This was difficult to do because two areas--mountains and plains--had few roads or other clear features.

Arcata, CA Jigsaw puzzle

Jigsaw puzzle of my wifes home country. Good quality and we had a good time remembering the town of Arcata. Because this is a smaller town, we decided to use the center of town square as the address provided for the map. This worked well as the entire town was covered and the family home, which was on the edge of town was on the puzzle too.

gift recipient enjoyed but it took a month to arrive; I expected maybe 10 days as it said ready to ship?? site should tell how long to expect the gift to arrive

What a great gift!

I bought this as a birthday gift for my teenage son who loves puzzles and is crazy about maps. But instead of our home address I put down the hospital where he was born, which coincidentally is on a street that has his name. He loved it! He sat down and worked on putting the puzzle together without even getting up to drink water. This is a fun and thoughtful gift that Ill be certain to buy for other family members!

great fun!

Im having a great time with this puzzle of my hometown, which I had to leave in 2014. Im surprised how many pieces hold happy memories! Id just like to note that the description (at least for the puzzle I received) seems to be inaccurate. It says Map Puzzle covers an area of 5 miles north-to-south and 7.5 miles east-to-west. Mine actually covers 5 miles to the north + 5 miles to the south of my old home, and 7.5 miles to the east + 7.5 miles to the west. So a total area of 10 miles north-to-south and 15 miles east-to-west. I was looking forward to more detail around my home, but I am enjoying the edges of the cities that would have been excluded as advertised. The rural areas are going to be a challenge!

jigsaw puzzle

It was difficult because I live in a rural area with fewer clues (a lot of green) but I learned a lot about the main roads, many that I remember from petitioning! The view was a bit dated, I think, but my driveway was on the puzzle! (Its long)

Great for a puzzle lover

The problem with this puzzle is the wait. To even heighten the anticipation you may receive shipping information a week before it leaves the puzzle maker. The wait is worth it. Traditional interlocking pieces make up a high quality map. I want to get more puzzles from my childhood homes.
