I was excited to find these mugs and thought they would be the perfect gift for a group of friends, so I purchased 5 of them to give to the girls and opened one in advance to use myself. I washed it in the top shelf of the dishwasher and the wording and the image on the other side have all but completely disappeared. Having worked with pottery and ceramics, the ink/glazes used were inferior/and/or not fired properly. Now, I dont think I can give these mugs as gifts and must endeavor to return them. So disappointed.

Cannot wait to give this along with the DA tea to my mother for Christmas. We LOVE DA and as a special treat, I am surprising her with a ticket for her and me to attend a Downton Abbey Tea Social in our area.

Ibought these as Xmas gifts and for myself. Perfect size for a cup of Joe.

The first time it was washed the lettering and image of the castle washed off. Like it was done with an expo marker. Would be fine for display only but if the person is actually going to USE the cup, do not purchase.

I ordered several of these mugs to give at Christmas to my other Downton Abbey friends. Im sure this will be their favorite go-to mug every morning.

Love the cups. They are comfortable to hold and are durable. Like the amount they hold which is perfect with my Keurig.

Gift for my wife. She has not seen it yet.

With the quality of this show that the products sold to represent this program are so cheap. Some one has dropped the ball.....so sad.....The buyers need to get more schooling in the fine art of gift buying.

I absolutely had to purchase this mug when I read the quote because it fits my life to a T! Its such a good size too. I dislike tiny mugs, and this one holds a nice amount of tea! Its a bit on the pricy side, but I am glad that I spent the extra money!

the size is great for my morning beverage which is tea... And the say ing is most appropriate for my house.
