I bought this mug as a graduation gift for myself, and I love it! This is now my favorite mug. Every time I use it I get to see some of the greatest artwork in history.

Ive never seen a mug like this before. It truly displays the history of art. Im not sure just anyone would like the mug. But if the gift is going to an artist or musician, they will love it and ask where did you get this? Its awesome!

I thought this would be really fun, but the artwork is a bit crude and cheap looking. I am an art history buff, and was hoping to make these my main Christmas presents, but no.

I have purchased three of these; one for a girlfriend who is an artist, and one each for my husband and moi; we too are art lovers/artists. This is an ample size that carries tea, coffee, or my paintbrushes with ease, although not all at the same time. This is a quality product that is very attractive.

Purchased as a gift for an art history major; couldnt be more appropriate. Quality is very good, as expected!

Lovely well-crafted mug. My Art HIstory student son loved it. It has a nice hand feel and seems to be quite chip resistant along with the accurate and fun artwork.

I gave this to my friend who was an Art History major, then an art teacher, and is now home with her babes until they are both in school. Sometimes you get wrapped up in only talking baby stuff so this was a fun distraction to remind her of her own interests and life before bottles and burp cloths. Knowing nothing about art history I was afraid it wouldnt be accurate, but she said everything was right! And there are some funny things on the mug, too :)

I purchased three gifts for my husband. The good was The Hermitage Masterpieces, the bad was Hitlers Musuem, a study in the theft of the worlds art by the dictator and his minions, and the Mug-ly is this wonderful Brief History of Art Mug. He has enjoyed all, but not at the same time. We can have the art that Hitler was unable to steal, just by purchasing the DVD/Blueray selections offered by PBS. All of these gifts are outstanding in quality; were both happy with the selections.

This is a good sized mug--lots of tea on one fill-up. The handle is well balanced, safe for walking around with hot stuff. I enjoy lookin at the art work chosen for the mug, seeing the development of graphic art and thinking about the epochs. Who knew? A meditative mug.

This mug was beautiful- very well made. It was purchased for a gift and was liked by both me the receiver. Very pretty detailed design. Shipped quickly and I was very pleased with it. I have a few mugs from PBS and they are extremely durable and stand up to heating. Very pretty and highly recommended for gift-giving or personal use. PBS has never disappointed me.

YOUD BETTER HURRY, IM ABOUT TO DEPLETE THE STOCK ALL BY MYSELF! THE COLORS ARE WONDERFUL, THE TIME LINE AROUND THE BOTTOM IS REALLY INFORMATIVE, AND AS A SET IT SHOULD LOOK QUITE HANDSOME WHEN DISPLAYED FOR SOME OF OUR RESPECTIVE ENVIOUS FRIENDS WHO WILL WANT SOME TOO! BE A HERO, TELL THEM HOW TO GET SOME!

Print quality and colors on actual mug not like the picture. Would have given as a gift to an artist friend, but will donate to the local hospice shop - maybe they can sell it and make a couple of dollars.
