We all must learn what humans are capable of!
Review by Philip S. on 01/15/22 review stating We all must learn what humans are capable of!
My father was a US Army Officer, and part of the Army of Occupation in Germany immediately following the wars end. As a young teenager, I saw films, just like this one -- in our living room as he explained it all to my brother and I. We all cried, and I will never forget it. He described what he saw, as a young officer and civil engineer in the Corps of Engineers. He had served as a witness at Nurnberg, and he wanted us to hear it from him personally. He warned us that what the nazis and the Germans public did could happen again -- because ordinary people can do horrible things. Too many people today are forgetting. Too many are allowing a nationalist sentiment to build, and are now turning that into a hatred of moslems. This film is important. Everyone should see it.

OUTSTANDING DOCUMENTARY
Review by Kdj on 11/14/21 review stating OUTSTANDING DOCUMENTARY
Although gruesome at times it tastefully, albeit bluntly, depicts the horror of the death camps and the tragedy associated with the Jewish holocaust of World War 2. Thanks God the allies won!

Watch it all. Should be required viewing in all high schools, as a requirement for graduation.

True Facts; Nothing Staged
Review by Steve on 11/14/21 review stating True Facts; Nothing Staged
This is true-life history of the Hell that the Polish and the Jewish went through during WWII and Hitlers regime. Everyone should be required to see this, especially secondary schools on up. You cannot believe it until you see it. Stories cannot tell the tale!

Be prepared prior to viewing
Review by Up N. on 11/14/21 review stating Be prepared prior to viewing
I saw this as a young adult, probably soon after it was produced. I was channel surfing and was not prepared for the images. It was a very good film and something everyone should see, as its a part of history. However, its disturbing and viewers should be prepared ahead of time, or at least warned, and a follow up discussion would be helpful for groups/classes.

MUST-USE for Genocide Educators
Review by Teacher on 11/14/21 review stating MUST-USE for Genocide Educators
This actual footage from the video puts numbers into reality in a way that Hollywood cannot. It is graphic and hard for students, but, it is REAL!
