I like this series - first episode was especially engaging. Montalbano is not physically attractive - bald guys with hairy chests arent my style. But hes a good person, intelligent and insightful. His girlfriend Lydia is well portrayed and an excellent match for him. Beautiful Sicilian scenery and complex plots add interest.
